- Take and record vital signs
- Monitor vital signs
- Clean and polish removable appliances and prostheses
- Size and fit stainless steel crowns and matrix bands
- Place matrix bands and wedges for fillings
- Assist through sealants
- Maintain field of operation during dental procedures through the use of retraction, suction, irrigation, drying, placing and removing cotton balls, etc.
- Apply topical anesthetic to the injection site
- Monitor nitrous oxide/ oxygen analgesia
- Assist through extraction
- CPR certified in the case of an emergency
